To avoid traffic jams in 72 cities of United States, The Computer Giant has planned to introduce a web-based service for driving directions called Clearflow.
Clearflow has been developed by the researchers of artificial-intelligence at Microsoft Research laboratories. The system is intended to reflect the complex traffic interactions that occur as traffic backs up on freeways and spills over onto city streets.
The system will be available for free on http://maps.live.com and drivers will be entertained by its more accurate, alternative route information which is attuned to current traffic patterns on both freeways and side streets.
